Why families in Forsyth County call us back

Every bail bond agency in Georgia charges the same maximum 15%. So the premium is not the difference. What differs is whether anybody answers, whether they tell you the truth, and whether they know the building.

Six things we do differently, stated plainly

☎

A person, not a queue

The phone is answered by a licensed bondsman who works this county, not by an answering service taking a message for the morning.

🔍

We check for holds first

If a probation hold or another county’s warrant means a bond will not get anyone out, we tell you before you pay, not after.

%

One number, no add-ons

15% of the bond, minimum $50 per charge. No travel fee, no after-hours fee, no expedite fee. What we quote is what you sign.

🚗

We go to the jail

Our agents take the paperwork to 202 Veterans Memorial Boulevard. You never need to learn the building or wait in the lobby.

📱

Remote signing

Co-signers sign by email from work, from another state, or from a phone in a car park. It does not slow the release down.

🔒

No lectures

You do not have to be a criminal to get arrested. We handle the release and keep our opinions about the charge to ourselves.

The questions worth asking any bondsman

If you are ringing round, ask these four. The answers separate the honest agencies from the rest quickly.

  1. “What is your premium, and is there anything on top of it?” The legal maximum is 15% plus a $50 per-charge minimum. Anything above that is a misdemeanor. Anything far below it usually means fees appear at signing.
  2. “Have you checked whether there is a hold?” A company that takes your money before checking is telling you something about how it operates.
  3. “How long will release actually take tonight?” Anyone promising a precise time does not control the jail. The honest answer is a range, with the reasons it might stretch.
  4. “What happens if a court date gets missed?” You want to hear about the window to fix it, not a threat.

What we are not

We are not a national brand with a Forsyth County phone number that forwards somewhere else. We are not going to tell you the charge is nothing when it is serious, or that we can beat a hold when nobody can. And we are not going to quote you 8% on the phone and find $400 of fees at the table.

If any of that is what you are looking for, there are companies that will oblige. We would rather be the number your cousin gives someone next year.

Common questions

Questions we get asked about this

Is 15% negotiable?

It is a legal ceiling, not a starting price. Georgia caps a surety premium at 15% of the bond with a $50 minimum per charge. We charge the standard rate and we do not add fees to it.

Do you charge a fee just to check on someone?

No. Locating a booking and checking whether a bond has been set or a hold exists costs nothing.

Can you help if the arrest was not in Forsyth County?

Usually. We work the surrounding booking desks in Hall, Dawson, Cherokee and Fulton. If we cannot help on a particular booking we will say so rather than take a premium.

What makes you different from a national bail company?

We are in Cumming, we know this jail and these courts, and the person answering your call is the person handling your bond.
